“MIRADAS DEL ARTE CORREO”
Presentación:
Me
encuentro realizando una tesis de doctorado sobre el arte correo en el nuevo
milenio. Como sabemos, se produjeron transformaciones culturales, sociales y económicas
relevantes desde mediados del siglo XX,
las cuales se aceleraron en los últimos treinta años a partir de las
nuevas tecnologías disponibles para la comunicación y la producción artística. El
objetivo de esta convocatoria es conocer cómo los participantes visualizan
estos cambios, desde su propia mirada y experiencia. Se publicará y exhibirá la
información general obtenida y los trabajos recibidos de arte correo para
que los practicantes y personas interesadas en la temática los conozcan. Tu
participación es muy importante.
Fecha
límite: 31 de julio de 2013
Para
participar de esta convocatoria debes enviar una postal por correo postal y un
texto vía correo electrónico o mensaje privado de facebook.
A
continuación se describen las características:

Se exhibirá en la
Universidad Nacional de La Plata cuando se presente la tesis y en otros
espacios a designar.
Se enviará por correo
electrónico el certificado de participación. Se solicita especificarlo en su
envío.

¿Cómo
cambió tu ‘experiencia’ o ‘vivencia’ del proceso integral de participación en
el arte correo (cuando tú lo produces, lo haces circular, lo muestras y lo
recibes) cuando comenzaste a usar las nuevas tecnologías en el nuevo milenio
(correo electrónico, blogs, facebook, nuevos
programas de diseño y edición, por ejemplo)? Describe y valora lo que
significan esos cambios para ti.

Si
alguien afirmara que: ‘con el uso de las nuevas tecnologías en el arte correo
se concretó la utopía de la red global, democrática, fraternal e igualitaria’,
¿estarías de acuerdo con esa afirmación y por qué? (justifica las razones de tu

MAIL ART CALL “Views of mail art”
Presentation:
I make a doctoral thesis on the
mail art in the new millennium.
As we know, relevant cultural,
social and economic transformations occurred since the mid-20th century, which
accelerated in the last thirty years from the new technologies available for
communication and artistic production. The objective of this call is to know
how participants viewed these changes, from its own vision and experience. It will
be published and will exhibit the obtained general information and the works of
mail art received so that the mail artist and persons interested by the
subject-matter know them. Your participation is very important.
Deadline:
July 31, 2013
To participate in this call, you must send a postcard
by mail and a text via e-mail or private Facebook message.
